Each year the Australian Truck Driver's Memorial committee holds a memorial service onsite at Tarcutta.
This service is about remembering and paying our respects to each of those individuals whose names appear on the wall, and the addition of new names to be added each year.
It is an opportunity for family and friends to unite with others who have suffered similar loss. This annual event has brought comfort to the thousands of individuals affected by the loss of lives throughout the transport industry.

The next memorial service will be held on 28 October 2023 in the Tarcutta Park, Sydney Street/old Hume Highway commencing at 1pm.
During the service there is a flower laying segment where families and loved ones are able to lay flowers or wreaths at the wall in memory of their loved one.
The local ladies have a flower stall on the day.
The service is followed by an afternoon tea provided by the local Tarcutta people and held at the RSL clubrooms.
Chairs are provided for the service but it is always a good idea to bring your own and an umbrella for shade or shelter from any rain.
In the evening there is the annual memorial dinner in Wagga for families and friends, bookings can be made by calling Admin or from the invitation sent out.
This evening is a fitting way to relax, have some fun and catch up with friends and others who have lost loved ones over the years.
